Fridays at the Farm | Open for Season

For those meeting us for the first time, we are Kristin & Joe, nature enthusiasts, foodies, nerds at heart, and most importantly, your farmers. Our one acre farm is constantly growing and metamorphosing with the mild seasons we have here in Florida. Fridays at the Farm are mostly the ranting of our experiences in growing food, but also a way to stay connected to what’s happening on the farm weekly or biweekly…

We attended our first farmers market of the 2018-19 season this past weekend. It’s always inspiring to catch up with our fellow vendors and their new projects after the long summer apart. Of course our favorite part… getting to chat, high five and hug (there’s always lots of hugging on the first market of the season) our amazing customers and new and returning CSA members.

On the farm, we’re harvesting beautiful greens, spicy radishes, and amazingly sweet salad turnips (the variety we grow is Hakurei). Each day the plants take to the filed, establishing fresh leaves and growing bigger right before our eyes. We hope you enjoy watching the change of seasons and varieties on our small piece of paradise.
